Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

General Description:

Responsible for quality control of product. Duties as follows:

• Perform daily product quality tests and gather metrics
• Raw material reviews, testing, and certification for production use
• Manages product quality through production process with periodic 100% reviews of product
• Audit production processes in-line for quality requirements
• Actively develop and implement changes for improvement
• Communicate effectively with internal customers to promote quality through the production process
• Identify non-conforming product and implement containment actions
• Maintain quality procedures and their integrity
• Identify areas for improvement in relation to quality
• Build teams for active improvement projects

NOTE:  This job description is a guide – at all times duties will be determined and assigned by the on duty supervisor as business needs dictate.

Work experience requirements:

• 3-4 years manufacturing experience
• 3-4 years quality assurance or audit background- preferred
• Printing knowledge a plus
• High attention for detail and focused individual
• Written, verbal and basic math skills (arithmetic) needed
• Has worked in fast paced environment
