Epileptologists

The Stead Family Department of Pediatrics at the University of Iowa seeks Pediatric Epileptologists at ranks including Associate (non-track), Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor (tenure or non-tenure track). The individual selected will join the Division of Neurology to provide patient care, teaching, and consultative services. The candidate will participate in providing clinical services to include intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring, bedside long term EEG monitoring, routine EEG and Video EEG monitoring. The U.S. News and World Report research ranking places the College 12th among public institutions for FY2016, and the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics ranked 22nd overall and 10th in NIH funding among all public pediatric departments nationwide in FY15. The ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program at the Children's Hospital trains 43 pediatric residents. The Stead Family Department of Pediatrics comprises the medical and research staff of UI Stead Family Children's Hospital. University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital is one of the nation's top-ranked pediatric care and research institutions. It is the only university-affiliated hospital in Iowa devoted solely to the care of infants, children, adolescents and young adults, and is Iowa's only accredited Level 1 Regional Resource Pediatric Trauma Center.
