Job Description:

This Finance Analyst position will be part of the financial planning and analysis team supporting the Auto Finance (Technology) line of business within JPMorgan Chase & Co. This position will be responsible for supporting the budgeting and forecasting for auto finance technology and own the finance function within auto technology. The successful candidate will have a strong leadership presence with the ability to partner with CFOs in budgeting, forecasting, allocation of expense and ad-hoc financial analysis. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare accurate & timely consolidated monthly reports for senior management

  • Partner with senior-level executives / CFOs to effectively manage expenses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Coordinate with business partners to assist in budgeting efforts

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain cross-functional knowledge in understanding impact of expenses in both Finance and other areas within the bank

  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactively take ownership of financial data and elevate any issues

  • Complete ad-hoc research and analysis as needed

  • Hyperion Essbase, SAP, and SAS experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required

  • Minimum 1 year of related finance / accounting experience

  • Experience in preparing reports detailing monthly performance

  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with senior leaders across the organization

  • Strong organizational skills, including good judgment and decision making capabilities

  • Advanced presentation skills

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
