The successful Senior UX Designer will have:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, interaction design or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in user centered design.
• At least 2 years of experience designing with style guides and pattern libraries and using a variety of tool like Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign, OmniGraffle, Sketch etc.  The ability to animate in After Affects is strongly preferred and the ability to utilize prototyping tools is a plus.

Preferred qualifications:

• Design experience across mobile, web, and 10’ devices (Roku, Xbox, etc.) with a preference for those who have designed consumer video applications
• Knowledge of user interface design, usability evaluation techniques, perception, cognition, task analysis, experimental design, and statistics.
• Experience in applying design principles and documentation within an Agile environment
• Strong ability to build relationships across team and organizational levels to help encourage and promote a collaborative environment.
• Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing people from engineering to senior executives.

• Work closely with product management and engineering to provide interaction design perspective to help ensure a cohesive experience across the various platforms that support Sling
• Drive the creative process from concept to delivery
• Deliver high quality, polished applications to drive our product vision and roadmap
• Champion best-in-industry design principles while supporting ongoing strategic initiatives
• Work with engineers on the team to help deliver polished product
• Produce detailed production ready visual specifications ready to pass-off to engineers.
• Gauge the usability of new and existing products and making constructive suggestions for change
• Work closely with cross functional team of stakeholders to design capabilities that define the next generational products
