Company has been in business for 41 years and manufactures glass components for various industries for example they make touch screens for Apple, John Deere, and some automotive companies. They have 3 shifts, 170 employees, and are family owned
We have 3 positions, all 3 will train on 1st for 1-4 weeks and permanently move to 2nd & 3rd(x2) shift after training.
Training Hours:
Train on 1st: 6:30am-3pm or Swing Shift from 12pm-8:30pm
Regular Hours:
2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm
3rd Shift: 11pm-7am (may vary slightly)
GOOD CANDIDATE/MUST HAVE:
2+ years of CNC or manual machine operating experience
Must pass our caliper test in our office, no exceptions
Be able to read blue prints for measuring specifications
Work Independently and follow directions
Good attention to detail
Basic math skills including basic geometry
Be able to complete paperwork on their own once trained
Use measuring equipment such as manual/dial micrometers (not digital) and calipers
Proven attendance record
BEST CANDIDATE/ PLUS:
5+ years of operating experience on CNC HAAS VMC's
Prior experience with glass materials
Experience working with tolerances equal to or greater than 0.0001
