MAJOR FOCUS:Under general supervision, provides superior customer service to applicants, new hires and current employees; provides clerical and administrative support for the human resources department; maintains accuracy of confidential personnel data and records. Is the epitome of organization and order. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Promotes and maintains the utmost integrity and the highest caliber customer service to all visitors/employees entering the HR office.•Processes new hires and assists them in completing all new hire paperwork (I-9's, tax forms, background checks, etc.) and administers the pre-employment drug screening test; ensuring all paperwork is complete and correct.•Processes all event staff applications (NASCAR & Firefly), Name/Address changes, W-4 changes and submits them in a timely manner to the relevant departments. •Sets up new employee files.•Prepares memos, letters, reports and other Human Resources related forms.•Greets all employees/visitors in a professional, friendly and courteous manner and provides support activities such as answering telephones, assisting and resolving problems, and handling general inquiries.•Establishes, updates, and maintains employee files and records; implements and maintains data management systems, as required.•Maintains and updates employee Visa log.•Responsible for all employment verification requests.•Reconciles bills associated with the new hire process.•Reviews and distributes incoming correspondence; performs office administrative duties; collects and compiles data. •Follows all relevant policies and procedures.•Must comply with the company’s recycling program standards.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:•Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•	High school diploma or equivalent experience, college preferred.
•	One year of experience in general office or clerical work required. 
•	Supplemental college courses in administration or human resources management preferred 
•	Prior HR front desk experience preferred.
•	Proficient in MS Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
•	Must be able to provide outstanding customer service.
•	Must have exceptional English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
•	Must perform work accurately and in accordance with standard procedures.
•	Must be able to successfully manage multiple processes and priorities, and work under pressure.
•	Good analytical/numerical, organizational, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills are required.
•	Must maintain and honor confidentiality and have the ability to balance HR integrity with the needs of front line employees and management.
•	Professional appearance required
