Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a CAD Drafter with 3-D modeling experience (i.e. PRO-E, CREO) capable of independently planning and completing increasingly complex projects demonstrating a broad scope of knowledge. Complexity of assignments may require considerable creativity and judgment to devise approaches to accomplish work, resolve design and operational problems, and make decisions in situations where standard engineering methods, procedures, and techniques may not be applicable.
Essential Responsibilities:

This incumbent assures that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved by the drawing produced, exercises independent judgment in selecting and interpreting data based on knowledge of the design intent.
- Although working primarily as a drafter, this worker may occasionally interpret general designs prepared by others to complete minor details, may provide advice and guidance to lower level drafters or serve as coordinator and planner for large and complex drafting projects.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
Vocational/technical training beyond high school and ten years of job-related experience preferred. Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Experience with 3-D modeling required. Some positions may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software. Position may require travel. The ability to obtain a Security Clearance is required.
