Role Summary:

In the role of Global Channel Manager (Excluding NAM) Reciprocating Compressors (RC), you will work closely with the Regional Sales Teams, Product Management and RC Leadership to identify, sign, develop and maintain the Global Distributors outside of the North America Region.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Global Channel Manager (Excluding NAM), you will:

Achieve channel key financial metrics on orders, revenue, margin and cash

Segment the current channel partner network and competitive landscape – assess service and repair gaps and develop differentiated service capabilities close to customers for maximizing the TPS market share

Implement service growth plan by closing gaps through Authorized Service Centers where necessary

Drive channel growth enablement tools including mutual action planning, performance management, co-marketing, and advisory councils

Make sure every partner is not only provided with an orders target but we also enable them to achieve it

Understand business metrics and own numbers reporting

Develop and implement contemporary metrics and operating mechanisms

Partner with regions and product lines on strategy development, growth planning and tactical implementation plans

Develop the most effective partnership structure for each geography with incentive schemes for achieving goals from a channel standpoint while safeguarding GE profitability in a win-win manner

Collaborate closely with E-commerce, SFDC & SFE teams to establish the roadmap for these critical initiatives in Recip

Manage the Training and development of both our channel commercial teams and all the partners globally as needed

Identify a process to assess best CP's for our business and execute on a plan that weeds out non value added CP's and build strategic CP network. Analyze the portfolio and products country by country

Work closely with marketing to understand the IB, market segments served and competitor best practices

Assess the need and prepare channel enablement programs including Commercial campaigns, Training Digital tools, Marketing & Communication Tier Program Management

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

Minimum 5 years experience in sales, commercial operations and/or operations

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management preferred

Channel management expertise preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

Established project management skills

Negotiation skill

High say / do ratio

Global experience in working with multiple cultures and remote team members

Self-drive and motivation
