POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of Aetna's Engineering team, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to engineer workspace technology solutions, understand business strategy, and advocate the right infrastructure products / services to enhance the end-user experience. The team also provides consulting and solutions for enterprise initiatives such as joint ventures, acquisitions, and mergers for a Fortune 50 company.

Fundamental Components:

Candidate must be comfortable with planning and deploying workspace technologies and have understanding of end-user computing platform, virtual clients, and cloud technology. The individual will be working with engineering teams, project managers, and business teams to plan and communicate technology solutions and deployments.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar. Experience with Windows and MAC operating systems, Active Directory, messaging and collaboration technology a must. Communication and presentation skills preferred.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

The IT Technical Training Program is a 24 month rotational program targeted at earlier-in-career talent. This job is specific to the Advisory Services track. Rotation tracks have been developed to provide a path for members to follow as they journey towards their final placement. The paths are intended to ensure that members are exposed to the many different skills they will need upon completion of the program. Within these tracks, all program members will be supported by rotation managers as well as senior level mentors. Rotation length can vary but are typically 6 months long and all program members will go through an initial onboarding orientation as well as various core trainings throughout the life of the program.
