Boeing's Propulsion Systems Engineering provides design, development and certification of integrated engine, nacelle, strut, auxiliary power unit and fuel systems for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Position Responsibilities:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking experienced engineers who will be adaptable and willing to work in various roles to support Flight Engineering in the Puget Sound, WA area. This role supports the following:

Definition of requirements for propulsion systems, auxiliary power systems and vehicle fuel and tank systems.

Definition, coordination and control of the functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle.

Design, development and certification of propulsion sub-systems and components to meet all vehicle design and performance criteria.
- Works in a team environment under general supervision

Qualifications
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in one or more of the following areas is desired:

Design, analysis and certification of mechanical or electrical components and / or systems.

Software design, build and qualification testing.
- Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, suppliers, peers, and other stakeholders
Typical Education/Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
