Responsibilities

About this position:

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care. Actively participates as a team member in the systems, functions and activities of the unit/department in which the employee is assigned. The employee maybe reassigned up to 3 times in one shift.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and iscovered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargainingagreement.Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school education
  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
  • CPR certification
  • Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely and accurately
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures
