ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Monitors the workflow of the restaurant and escorts guests to tables accordingly.•Monitors guest satisfaction and take appropriate action if issues arise.•Assists in identifying hotel and VIP guests for seating and informing the Chefs on duty.•Opens and closes sections with the increase or decrease in the volume of guests.•Operate POS systems to itemize and total guests’ checks, and accept payment. Makes change, cashes checks and issues receipts or tickets.•Provides exceptional customer service. •Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.•Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.•Follows all relevant policies and procedures.•Must comply with the company’s recycling program standards.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:•Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Must possess high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience. • Must possess good communication skills. • Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled. • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed. • Must be able to successfully pass a background check. • Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate uniform. • Must be able to handle pressure during peak business periods.
