Very well-established freight forwarder located in Valley Stream is currently looking for an Air/Ocean Import Specialist.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting Import Air and Ocean desk with incoming shipments.
Process shipments through Customs and arrange delivery to final destination of the customer.
Communicate with customers, overseas branches and agents, truckers, warehouses and any other partners.
Maintain files and process billing
Requirements:
Must possess excellent communication skills
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a freight forwarder
Competitive salary and excellent benefits which include medical coverage, sick, vacation and holiday pay as well as a 401K.
