Source to Pay Transformation Project Manager

The Source to Pay Transformation Program is a multi year effort of multiple projects to transform and uplift business capabilities and technologies responsible for sourcing interactions with suppliers, contracting and procurement activity, accounts payable activities, and policies and procedures related to same.

The Project Manager supports the Project Sponsor/Project Lead by driving the day-to-day work of the Functional, Technical and other teams that deliver the work of a Project within the program. The Project Manager operates as part of a Project Management Office.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of the Project Manager are:
* Developing and driving the execution of a set of operational project management plans and procedures for maintaining the Project schedule and tracking progress against the schedule.
* Driving the formal issue and risk discussions, managing project risks and issues, driving issues to closure and contingency plans for risks.
* Controlling the costs of the Project for which the Project Manager is accountable.
* Driving project artifact production, approval, storage and publishing and ensuring the quality of the Projects work products.
* Creating, maintaining, and executing the Projects work breakdown structure, work products and schedule.
* Monitoring and managing and reporting on the Project teams day-to-day execution of the Project activities against a baseline schedule, budget and scope, and taking corrective action as required.
* Facilitating Quality Gate Reviews and Phase and Project closure.
* Driving actions related to project logistics and internal communications.

Required Skills/Experience:

* Previous project management experience of large/complex business change and/or IT projects, including collaboration with third-party service providers.
* Background in sourcing, procurement, or finance.
* Expertise in business process design.
* Experience with SAP, Oracle, and Ariba is highly desirable.
