Laboratory Technician

Typical Job Functions:

Perform analytical testing and physical testing for TGAIs (Technical Grade Active Ingredients), MUPs (Manufacturing-Use Product) and EPs (End-Use Products), inserts and production intermediates.
Testing includes HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, pH, specific gravity, viscosity and emulsion stability on pesticide chemicals.
Assist production with day to day operations and introduction of new products and formulations.
Assist with the set-up of new or existing product specifications.
May conduct analytical testing, as well as batch calculations utilizing mathematical acuity, in support of formulation and process development.
Conduct work in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrates working knowledge of scientific principles.
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Normally receives no instructions on routine work and only general instructions on new assignments.
Create new SOP and/or revise existing SOP.
Assist in training of peers and less skilled employees in execution of analyses and/or the use of specialized equipment.
Good communication and team working skills.

Pay: $13-$20/hr; depending on experience

Experience: No experience needed but the more experience you have, the more we can consider you for more opportunities and better pay. Good job tenure is a must (1-2 years at each position).

Location: We offer positions from St. Joe, MO to Stillwell, KS. We have operations all over the KC metroplex.
