CDL- Class B Box Truck Driver
Bell Gardens, CA
Pay rate:$15.50 PH/+OT
Shift: Monday- Friday , start time : 7:00am
Staffmark Drivers is the premier Transportation Staffing Service that focuses on finding jobs for commercial Class A, B and C drivers. We are currently looking for a qualified CDL Class B Delivery Driver for one of America's largest and most respected Food Meat Distributor Company that serves fine dining restaurants customers in the United States and internationally.
DRIVERS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivery driver will operate a CDL Class B box truck ( Bobtail Truck) with a refrigeration unit attached with a lift gate
Driver will have pre-assigned customer routes for deliveries of general meat products to fine dining restaurants and super markets
Driver will frequently lift and carry food product from 10-50lbs. on a daily repetitive basis, and must be able to operate a manual pallet jack or electric power jack.
Ability to work in/out of cold temperature environment, from freezers & refrigeration units down to 10 degrees exposure.
Must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently and able to communicate verbally & written with customers and dispatch interaction on a daily basis
Job Requirements:
23 year of age or older
Valid CDL Class B Driver License
Valid Medical Certificate or Medical Card
Minimum of 1 year or more CDL Class B 20Ft-24ft Bobtail (5-6 Speed) driving experience within the past 36 months
Driver may not exceed any combination of 3 moving violations and/or preventable accidents on their MVR in the past 36 months.
No DUI/DWI's in the past 10 years
H-6/10 year MVR printout from the DMV ( no older than 30 days)
Good customer service and communication skills
Must be a team-player, and have a "can do" attitude and assist wherever needed!
