Grinder(Entry Level) - Full-time / Part-time

Now hiring for entry level grinder positions. This are extremely physical. You will be using large hammers, grinders, overhead cranes and other equipment. This is an essential part of steel manufacturing process. You must be open to working all shifts, willing to submit to a background check, and willing to submit to a drug screen. Long term this position can lead into welding and supervisory positions.

Job duties include:

Grinding skills and working knowledge of grinding tools, equipment, and materials.

Basic ability to follow instructions, read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations.

Grind and blend defect areas on castings

Blend welds to blueprint tolerances.

Reviews x-ray/inspection paperwork, sketches and blueprints to determine grinding requirements.

Blends and reworks repaired areas to specified tolerances
