POSITION SUMMARY

To develop and oversee the execution of Aetna Digital product strategy, standards, infrastructure and availability which result in increasing and retaining Aetna membership. This position will have direct responsibilities for the customer-facing digital platforms that will increase member engagement and effectiveness when working with Health Coaches and to aid them in managing and overcoming serious health issues to get back on their road to health. This is extremely meaningful work that will have a direct effect on many of our members health and well-being. This person will also be responsibly for ensure that our digital tool are accessible to our members with disabilities, ensure we meet government section 508 requirements and build in accessibility in all the products we create.

Fundamental Components:

As a Product Manager in Aetna Digital you will work in a fast-paced environment and will carry the responsibility to manage key components of a digital services platform. You will be expected collaborate very closely with other Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Teams and Business Stakeholders in a fully scaled agile environment. Your priority will be to work with Aetna business stakeholders to ensure the product solutions that represent the users journey on the Aetna Digital Platform is fully represented. You may be expected to research and understand the product solution market, develop an informed opinion in each journey area and articulate the best product with the engineering, design, & architecture teams. You will be responsible for facilitating collaboration between the business needs, values and solutions.

  • Aetna Digital is looking for a Product Manager with experience working in fast-paced, startup like environment.
  • As the Product Manager of the Aetna Digital Health and Wellbeing platform, you will help manage and grow the use of of digital tools, specifically relating to consumer interactions with coaches/nurses and other consumers.
  • Partner with other product managers/owners, agile managers and leadership to mature the offering and ensure it exceeds the expectations of our customers and users.
  • Grow your skill set and knowledge base by working alongside talented and passionate teammates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Be the voice & champion of the consumer by driving the growth of the digital platform User Experience in an methodical orderly way.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to coordinate the needs of our digital solutions.
  • Help drive your scrum team to success by working across teams to drive discussion & engagement, create & track user stories in an agile software development life cycle.
  • Work with other teams to perform research around the user experience and feed the output into future feature development.
  • Investigate ways, partnerships, technologies to drive user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure internal product stakeholders needs /expectations are met and promote transparency by helping communicate through SAFe/SCRUM practices
  • Ensure that we continue to meet section 508 accessibility requirements and continue to improve the digital experience and digital engagement for our disabled members.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • 3+ years of related industry experience preferred
  • Agile certification preferred
  • Communicate product vision effectively to peers and other leaders
  • Guide product strategy from internal pilots to external launch
  • Perform industry research as necessary to support feature development.
  • Lead scrum team to define, track and test user stories in an agile software development life-cycle.
  • Provide product subject matter expertise and leadership.
  • Work with program management to track schedule against the roadmap and escalate risks and issues.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
