Machine Maintenance Technician

A large company in the Jackson area is looking for knowledgeable maintenance technicians. The machine maintenance team is responsible for all production equipment in the plant.

Typical day will begin with a production meeting to get the shift caught up on what happened over last shift. This will also be the time that all urgent work orders will be addressed and assigned to technicians. After the production meeting is complete the technicians will go out and get their list of work orders done. Each technician will also have PMs assigned to them that they will need to get done within the month.

Types of equipment the machine maintenance team works on:
- Presses
- Die cast machines
- Robotics (DENSO, Fanuc, and Motoman)
- Grinders
- Injection mold machines
- CNC (lathes and mills)
- Vision systems

Must Haves:

- Machine/Industrial maintenance (5 years)
- Diploma/GED

PLUS:
- Journeyman
- Certifications (electrical, mechanical, etc.)

These positions are available on second and third shift. 2nd shift is 3:00pm to 11:30pm, 3rd shift is 11:00pm to 7:30am.
