Leasing Operations is hiring a Delivery Technician for our Buddy's Home Furnishings Franchise in Athens, TX.
The Delivery Technician helps maintain the appearance of the showroom; takes primary role in delivery and pick up of merchandise; may perform additional functions or duties as assigned by the General Manager; demonstrates effective communication and reasoning skills and shows growth potential.
**Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Acquire and Maintain Customers
- Ability to demonstrate product features and explain the benefit of those features
- Basic furniture, appliance, home electronics display set up, installation and removal
- Complies with all company vehicle safety standards and documentation
- Inside/outside service calls
- Protection of company assests which includes but not limited to inventory, equipment and vehicles
- All other duties deemed necessary for effective store management
- Prepares, Builds, places on floor, and signs new merchandise on the sales floor
- Executes local marketing strategies including but not limited to door hangers
- Assists the Credit Manager in on call credit collections and or returns/pick ups
