Job Description
The District Sales Manager is considered the conduit between customer satisfaction and business development within his/her assigned district. This is accomplished by planning, organization, concise communication skills, and executing a business plan. The District Sales Manager leads an energized sales force to maximize sales and profits, and execute business priorities within a Performance culture. The District Sales Manager plays an integral role in developing and leading the frontline sales team to success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive consistent revenue growth in sales, exceeding revenue growth targets.
- Lead and oversee day-to-day sales, sales operations, logistics, inventory, scheduling, training, and performance management/people development for 30-35 employees.
- Achieve or exceed service standards across all channels.
- Achieve or exceed Incremental Points of Distribution targets within his/her assigned district.
- Lead display execution improvement within his/her assigned district.
- Achieve or exceed productivity targets, leading productivity initiatives within his/her assigned district.
- Successfully prospect and generate sales through customer call lists.
- Prepare and conduct employee reviews monthly.
- Lead strong safety culture by utilizing Company safety initiatives to minimize injury, work time loss and productivity loss.
- Build strong working relationships with customers within his/her assigned district.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen. Accurately manage budgets and make data driven action plans.
- Implement company sales programs and tools designed to increase revenue with existing customers.
- Prioritize projects, data and communication going to frontline.
- Effectively lead team through company initiatives using change management.
- Building and executing appropriate development plans for all employees.
- Conduct scheduled interactions with employees to drive sales and capability including one on ones, weekly video conference calls and district meetings.
- Performance manages to build team strength and achieve targets.
- Provide all necessary sales support and training related to ordering system, sales reports, sell sheets, P.O.S., and other sales related materials.
- Ensure compliance with all company standards.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Multi-Unit management - retail, customer service, or other related fields is required. (3 years minimum)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
