Saint Michael's Home Care is licensed by the State of Florida through the Agency of Health Care Administration (AHCA) as a Homemaker & Companion Service. We provide in-home, non-medical care to seniors and those who need some extra help around their home. The services we provide include things like meal preparation, light housekeeping, errand running, general assistance around the house and companionship. Many of our clients are seniors in their homes that want to live independently and not be forced to move into a retirement home. We assign one caregiver to work with each client, depending on how many hours per week they would like care. Our clients dictate to us how often they may need care. Some need care just a few hours per week, others may need care 24/7. Our caregivers work inside people's homes, which may be a house, hospital, Assisted Living Facility or even a Skilled Nursing Unit. At Saint Michael's Home Care, we only hire caregivers who are compassionate, dependable, accountable and love to do this type of work. Our caregivers have big hearts and deeply care about the clients that we serve. The best candidate for our position would have a positive attitude, a friendly disposition and have a big heart. Each one of our employees that we hire are subject to a Level II FBI Background check which includes a fingerprint scan and photograph by an approved vendor thru AHCA.
