Job Description
General Manager, Cleaners
Essential Functions:
1. Create, implement, and manage external sales and marketing to businesses, schools, retailers, and community drives for the Fox Valley area.
2. Conduct Weekly Sales meeting/recap
3. Conduct Weekly Regional Sales Manager (RSM) review
4. Conduct Weekly quality, maintenance, efficiency, and personnel review with the production manager.
5. Responsible for establishing, communicating, and managing pricing structures and marketing plan.
6. Achieve annual sales goals as created with the executive team
7. Follow the budget and explain discrepancies
8. Set one major goal per quarter, and give Weekly updates on this.
9. Make equipment purchase/upgrade recommendations.
10. Research and Recommend new locations or reduction in locations.
11. Oversee any Acquisitions and store remodels with approval from leadership.
12. Develop and sustain positive Community relationships
13. Coordinate charitable efforts with non-profits and other local organizations
14. Document, Manage, Resolve, and track trends with customer damage claims or service complaints
15. Develop and implement the sales plan and track progress
16. Present investment and growth opportunities with ROI for the dry cleaners.
17. Conduct bi-weekly meeting with all direct report Managers, including sales 1 time per month.
18. Confirm all Metrics are input into MFM website monthly
19. Attend additional management meetings as needed
20. Communicate all corporate information, policies, and processes, and confirm they are followed.
21. Assure proper documentation of all positions, and training manuals are updated
22. Manage staffing issues: recruiting, onboarding, corrective action, terminations, etc with HR
23. Verify and Approve bi-weekly employee timecards

Six anticipated Direct Reports include, but are not limited to:
Production Manager
Alterations Manager
Regional Sales and Service Manager (RSM)- Fox Valley
RSM- Central Wisconsin
Sales- Fox Valley
Sales- Central Wisconsin
This position also has ultimate responsibility for all store and route personnel, approximately 25 front line employees located in the Fox Valley and Central Wisconsin.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED and at least three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
Sales experience
Leadership of direct reports
Knowledge of fabrics, dry cleaning, or cleaning techniques
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with automobile insurance and good driving record
Background check
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is expected for this position. However, travel is typically regional and during the business day.
