TitleBusiness AnalystOverviewThe Business Analyst is a resource for the Sterling Order Management platform. This person provides business process expertise to projects that utilize or impact the Sterling OMS and Call Center Applications. . The analyst is responsible for the day to day operations of the systemic solution. Theanalyst provides analysis and troubleshooting expertise when functional or business process issues are discovered in the implementation or ongoing use of Sterling Commerce products. This role is IT and business facing and thus requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Responsibilities
- point of contact for Call Center, Order Management system and related functions / system
- Understands full order lifecycle and business processes in a Direct-to-Consumer retail environment
- Able to utilize expertise to streamline the collection of business requirements
- help develope the execution of Test plans for enhancements and in some cases large projects
- help explain the impact of complex problems and partner with others in IT in regards to the best solution to the problem
- Partner with business and operational peers on new development delivery or issue resolution
Required Skills
- Experience with D-to-C OMS, Call Center and Return Dept. operations in an ecommerce/catalog/retail environment
- Experience managing relationships with IT and business units at the management level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Retail Ecommerce Platforms or warehouse management systems
- Ability to write and execute SQL Scripts
- Project Management Skills
- Test Case Development
