Job Description

Farmers District Office is searching for a candidate to lead all recruiting activities for various positions, including agents, agency staff, and agency producers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sourcing support to the District Manager and Agency Business Consultants
  • Assist managers with the interview and selection processes as appropriate
  • Implement sourcing strategies that produces the most effective candidate search (ie. job boards, personal referrals, newspaper ads, career fairs, etc.)
  • Conduct phone screening and initial interviews as appropriate
  • Work with candidates on licensing and contracting as needed
  • May perform other duties

Qualifications:

  • Insurance experience is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in recruiting and/or sales is desirable
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Knowledge with the use of computer websites, tracking spreadsheets, and online contracting software
  • Self-motivated and highly energetic
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
