Welders needed!
Will be using metal core mig, tig, and fluxcore welding process (must pass two or more)
Ability to pass applicable test(s) and applicable Non Destructive Exam
May weld brackets and braces and use grinders. May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. May perform position welds on code materials
Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches
Must have some experience reading and understanding blueprints
Must be able to operate basic cutting equipment
Promotes and supports safety, production and positive attitude
Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
Large shop that is non climate controlled. Team environment due to starting a unit from start to finish.
3 different welding departments- towers, vessels, and spool
Prefer 3 years of code welding experience.
High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum one to twelve months related experience and/or training
Welding school or on the job training
Certification to weld on pipe or plate
Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipe, structural and vessel materials
Dis qualifiers - Excessively choppy work history and structural welding experience with no code.
4:30pm- 3am
$2 night shift differential.
All positions are on 2nd.
