Production Operator (Slicing) - Full-time / Part-time

This Production Operator position involves running up to 8 wire saw machines at a time, performing a slicing function for silicon wafer processing. Additional machines will also be operated for product demounting which will require the ability to lift, move, manipulate 60+ pounds at times throughout the day.

This is a very physical position that will also entail other maintenance duties such as having to change out and clean certain parts and chemicals within the machine, of which will entail bending, reaching, and torquing in somewhat of an awkward manner fairly frequently throughout the day as well.

Must also be able to stand or be walking consistently throughout the day and able to do so on a 12-hour shift. There is no sitting down when on the production floor, and a high sense of urgency is a must to keep machines running efficiently.

Must have a strong attention to detail, and good time management and multitasking skills to be able to monitor progress and maintain operation of multiple machines at a time.

Mechanical aptitude and background is highly desirable for this position.

Basic computer skills are also necessary, including basic proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel, and comfortable with touch screen displays on machines for operation and process management.

Must be organized, willing and ready to learn and be trained, and able to work well with others as part of a team.

Required PPE includes hairnet, safety glasses, and company-provided uniform and safety shoes.

This position will be on a 12-hour Night Shift working 6pm to 6am on a compressed workweek schedule, with required work every other weekend and overtime as needed.
