As a massage therapist at the Vail Marriott you are the very essence of the spa experience. You provide therapeutic restoration and relaxation within mind, body spirit of each of our guests. You are passionate about what you do and you bring that dedication to each and every therapy you provide. You have excellent communication skills that you use to explore your guests needs, and from there you craft a tailor-made therapeutic experience for each individual.

A massage therapist at the Golden Leaf Spa is a skilled and talented therapist who is an organized, energetic and dependable person who is driven by a common company goal: to create an experience of a lifetime. You make a significant and meaningful impact on our guest’s wellbeing, while also creating an amazing spa experience, which requires the particular type of expertise.

Responsibilities:

• To have proficient knowledge, and skill in execution of massage therapies and body treatments offered.

• To have extensive knowledge of all retail products and to assist guests with selecting beneficial products for their at home regimen. Complete a spa prescription after each treatment listing recommendations.
• To have comprehensive knowledge of and offer suggestions on other treatments or services that would benefit your guest by responding to cues.

• Keep treatment rooms sanitized, stocked and presentable according to spa standards and state regulations. Keep all work areas clean, including heart of house areas as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current Colorado state massage therapy license. -required
• High school diploma or the equivalent. -required
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English. -required
• Must possess excellent communication skills, in order to effectively present detailed information verbally to guests and employees throughout the organization. -required
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. -required
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. -required
• Must be able to crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl. -required
