Our CAREGivers/Personal Care Assistants provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to safely remain in their homes. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life in addition to meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A CAREGIVER?
- Follow professional boundaries that will contribute to a positive living environment for clients
- Become aware of the client's individualized care plan which identifies care tasks and document daily activities
- Recognize potential risks and report any significant changes in a client's needs or living conditions to the office immediately.
- Maintain regular communication with office staff-be proactive in obtaining work, respond to messages or requests and participate in company sponsored training.
Safely assist clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) through individualized care to support client's independence according to the Home Instead Senior Care Independent Living Philosophy.
You'll be assisting clients with tasks like:
- Companionship
- Light Housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Meal Preparation
- Errands and Transportation (on a case by case basis)
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Bathing
- Toileting/Incontinence Care
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Feeding
*PA Driver's license, Vehicle and Auto Insurance Required*
*Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and Pre-Employment Post Offer Drug Screen*
