Team Store Manager - Full-time / Part-time

The Tacoma Rainiers and Sounders FC 2 are seeking a full-time store manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Team Store at Cheney Stadium. They will report to the Director of Merchandise and work to ensure the overall success of the Team Store and related brands. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and driven individual with strong organizational and leadership skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Provide a high level of customer service to all customers, responding to customer inquiries and complaints

·         Professionally represent and promote the Tacoma Rainiers and Sounders FC 2 brands to all customers, fans and guests

·         Monitor and maintain inventory levels, performing physical inventories and tracking product sales

·         Accurately receive and input new merchandise, checking for quality and correct quantities

·         Create a strategy for effectively merchandising product, frequently changing displays and look of the store to drive sales

·         Direct and supervise Team Store employees in all aspects of store operations – sales transactions, customer service, restocking – ensuring efficient and strong service to all customers

·         Prepare daily reports and deposits

·         Develop strong knowledge of store and company policies and proficiency in point-of-sale software

·         Assist in the operation of the online Team Store – fulfilling orders, monitoring inventory and responding to customer inquiries

·         Perform other functions and duties as directed

Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or GED required/College degree preferred

·         2 years retail management experience preferred

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally

·         Available to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays

·         Ability to perform physical activities associated with operating a retail store

·         Must be a self-starter, problem solver and have decision-making ability
