The Part Time Retail Team Members will drive the company’s retail store operations through driving a high level of customer service while also performing operational and marketing tasks and projects as directed by the General Manager and Lead Retail Team members.

The Part Time Retail Team Member help manage the day-to-day operations of the store by actively interacting with customers and drawing them into the retail locations. Their main role will be to interact with customers, replenishing product, merchandising, keeping the store organized and clean, and performing a variety of other duties, including but not limited to, cash control, receiving product, marketing surveys and conducting inventory counts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Help meet operational goals, objectives, policies and priorities, including monthly sales goals, customer service objectives, operating plans, advertising plans and store improvement priorities.
  • Deliver great customer experiences, stocking and storing merchandise, displaying merchandise, maintaining overall appearance of the store, ringing sales and cash handling.
  • Staff the store as trained and knowledgeable employees who are motivated to deliver great customer service.
  • Fosters customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers’ requests and complaints are handled in a friendly, competent manner.
  • Execute the plans that are set with advertising, promotion and marketing strategies as directed by General Manager and Corporate team.
  • Enter Mosaic Field reporting information for each shift
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts; ensure shrink levels meet agreed upon performance levels.
  • Perform retail and customer service activities as needed.
  • Ensure the daily cleaning and maintenance of the store meets company standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • At least one year of retail or relevant business experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to travel locally and regionally for events, trainings and operational needs ~10% over the course of a year.
  • Proven track record in customer service and sales.
  • Able to create a positive and productive working environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally, in writing and electronically.
  • Ability to represent the Jack Links brand and company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to work variable hours including regular evening and weekend hours, as required for the efficient operation of the store, meetings and promotional events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to share information, provide feedback, delegate, receive work direction.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, co-workers, business partners, vendors, and the public.
  • Successfully pass drug and background checks

Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move between 20-80 pounds.

The employee will experience environmentally controlled retail store conditions, but will also be exposed to inclement weather conditions assisting customers with carryout.
