Aerotek is hiring for an Electrical Engineer for our client in Greenville, Indiana! This is a permanent position.
Techshot is a provider of military and government, fully automated, self-contained hardware units primarily for space flight experiments. They are in a major uptick currently and have much more work than they have engineering resources on staff to complete. They have landed more contracts in the first quarter of 2018 than they did in all of 2017, with no end in sight to the work.
Day to day each engineer is tied to several projects and the focus for the days shifts with each new phase as a project develops.
Responsibilities:
- Design, development, analysis, and testing of electrical/electronic components, systems, circuit boards and equipment
- Collaborate with Software, Mechanical, Systems Engineers and technicians to meet objectives
- Understand technical and government specifications for each new product
- Prepare accurate technical documentation-schematics, design analysis, technical reports, procedures and presentations as needed
- Identify parts to meet customer specs, and coordinate circuit board manufacturing
