Team Leader - Full-time / Part-time

Position Overview: 

As a Team Leader at Bargain Hunt, you'll never experience the same day twice. The Store Management Team is dynamic, responsive and dedicated to creating a cooperative atmosphere where employees learn together and from each other. As part of the Store Management Team, you will work closely with the Store CEO to efficiently and effectively conduct daily store operations. You will assist in maximizing sales, controlling expenses and providing excellent customer service. You will be a contributing Store Management Team member in an environment that embraces a challenge and has a strong drive to achieve. Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists customers in a positive and professional manner.

• Foster, grow and contribute to maintaining a positive work environment/culture/team.

• Accept full responsibility for an assigned area within the store.

• Answers questions and resolves customer inquiries and concerns quickly.

• Ensures a clean, visually appealing, well-stocked store for all our customers.

• Assist Store CEO in hiring, supervising, training, evaluating and developing the store team.

• Supports Store CEO in loss prevention efforts.

• Assumes certain management responsibilities in absence of Store CEO.

• Follows all Company policies and procedures.

• Works various shifts to include weekends, days and evenings.

Qualifications:

• Two years prior retail management experience.

• Must be friendly, polite, enthusiastic and enjoy working with people.

• Ability to take initiative and act with a sense of urgency.

• Available and willing to work day, evening and weekend shifts.

• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.

• Demonstrated visual merchandising skills.

• Ability to process merchandise information through store computer system, POS, etc.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a stressful situation.

• Strong communication skills both written and oral.

• Results driven/goal oriented.

• Strong conflict management and relationship management skills.

• Proven reliability and personal integrity.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
