Job Description
NESCO RSOURCE is currently looking to hire a 2nd, shift Supervisor for our client in Detroit, Michigan.
· They would have to have automotive / warehouse experience and willing to work 10-12 hour days plus weekends based on customer requirements.
· A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of Inspection and Quality Control methods, techniques and equipment.
· Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings
· Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
Responsibilities:
· Must be capable to perform, train and manage all of the associate’s job duties -see job description.
· Must be capable to perform, train and manage all of the team leader’s job duties -see job description.
· Must be capable to perform, train and manage all of the material handler job duties -see job description.
· Participates in the Employee Handbook process, has read and reviewed the handbook and knows how to work with the corporate support group in its administration.
· Responsible for posting all daily metrics and the up keep of our quality boards.
· Provide on call service to customer and respond to any after hour’s requests.
· Actively participates and able to do any of the Associates and or Team Leader jobs, when required,
· Audits frequently as per the corporate quality guidelines- to validate and maintain training in job duties, and work flow processes.
· Operates within corporate guidelines of the Business Management System.
· Supports implementation and maintenance of ISO 9000 certification programs.
· Participates/take role lead and/ or manages in our problem resolution process review and all of its follow up.
· Understands and capable to implement and train others on our our requisition / expense process when required.
· Responsible for the control, organization, and management of material handling tools and equipment on site or at off site locations.
· Responsible for the control, organization and management of all operational tools and supplies.
· Responsible for the control, organization and management of all office tools, equipment supplies.
· Responsible for the control, organization and management of all customer parts processed and stored in our facility.
· Responsible for the delivery scheduling of all material part requirements at our onsite locations
· Must be prepared to do any other general duties assigned by the Operations Manager / Corporate Management
· Work various shifts when required.
· Work daily overtime / weekends when required
· Assist with the administration and its process.
· Communicating jobs
· Maintaining daily paper and submitting it to everyone involved
· Monitoring the floor of team lead/ inspectors
· Making sure production expected output for the day is being met
· Training
· Enforcing policies and procedures are being followed
· Satisfying the customers need
Must have the following computer skills; Excel, Power Point, and create Word Documents.
