Job Description
A premier resort located in the Brainerd Lakes Area of Central MN is seeking a General Manager for a portion of the resort. This part of the resort is a 80 room hotel with a recreation facility, conference facility, marina and a 5 star restaurant. The whole resort has 2 miles of beautiful shoreline including 63 holes of golf, 5 restaurants, 42,000 sq ft of meeting space.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in managing Food and Beverage Operations
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession. This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or complex problems and food and beverage management.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
- Hotel management experience is nice but not required
