Do you have Shipping / Warehouse experience? Are you looking for a great opportunity with great pay and potential for benefits? AtWork Personnel of Gainesville is looking for a Shipping Clerk and we want to HIRE YOU!
Pay: $12/Hr +
Potential for Full time benefits! Health, Dental, and Vision
Schedule: 1st shift M-F 8am-4pm, OT and weekends if needed, 40 hrs+
Duties:
- Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents.
- Prepare reports manage shipping schedules and perform other administrative tasks.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies.
- Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Lead or Supervisors.
- Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, tasking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up of goods
- Prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight
- Assist in training new associates
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Must have at least 1 year experience in Transportation or Logistic industry
- Experience with Sap and JD Edward preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Good understanding of LTL shipment, Bill of lading and PO processing
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50+lbs
