Job Description

SUMMARY:

The coordinator of tax return processing and delivery to customers. This is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position based in our Chico, California office. Some overtime may be required during busy season.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1.      Minimum Experience Required: 2 years working at a CPA firm

2.      Proficient in UltraTax CA

3.      Proficient in Practice CS

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  1. Processing of completed tax returns
  2. Final review of tax return packages prior to delivery to client (ensure all documents are signed, proper mailing envelopes are included, verify method of delivery, update internal tax return/projects tracking system, prepare for mailing/courier/overnight delivery)
  3. Scanning client documents into the electronic
  4. Edit and track engagement letters for new and existing Tax clients.
  5. Complete client set up forms for new Tax clients/engagements.
  6. Maintain various spreadsheets/department reports/schedules
  7. Provide high level of support to partners/managers
  8. Back-up assistance for the Receptionist/Front Office Coordinator
  9. Manage Practice CS software and projects
  10. General administrative word processing, filing, scanning

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

1.      Maintains client direct deposit information

2.      Maintains client ACH system and information

3.      Logs and completes banking deposits
