Delivery Driver:
Yaghi's New York Pizzeria is hiring delivery drivers for our Copperas Cove location. We are looking for customer service oriented people with great attitudes to help our Copperas Cove store grow! Must have a car with insurance and a valid drivers license. Please apply at our store at 3010 Hwy 190, suite 106 in Copperas Cove (in the HEB shopping center, behind Whataburger.
Pizza Chef:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for preparing meals for customers and preparing meals for special events as needed. The cook is responsible for ensuring the quality of prepared food items.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have knowledge of food preparation, sanitation and hygienic methods
• At least One (1) year cooking experience.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to follow recipes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Prepares all food items on menu according to pre-determined recipes; works with other staff to plan meals
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures (this includes cleaning assignments as scheduled, cleaning equipment and following all safety rules to protect self, other employees, and guests) follow all sanitation policies and procedures for food preparation
• Unload and stock all sizes and weights of food items and supplies on shelves and in the freezers and refrigerators after deliveries (this requires the ability to safely bend, lift large, heavy boxes to shoulder height); must be able to withstand extreme temperature variations of the kitchen, freezers and refrigerators
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
• Promotes positive public relations with customers
• Use appropriate work place behavior; adhere to dress code at all times
• Understand that other duties not listed may be required as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift 50 pounds for routine performance of essential functions
WORK SCHEDULE:
As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays; non-exempt position
