The Quality organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, solutions-oriented Manager of Facilities Operations to join the Quality team at our Chelsea Proving Grounds in Chelsea, Michigan.
The specific job responsibilities will be:
- Manage Building Maintenance, Road/Ground Maintenance and Stockroom supervision to achieve facility goals
- Define projects needed and manage all aspects including appropriate spending of $16M budget
- Define the best way to utilize personnel to meet objectives using the TMS (Total Maintenance system) system
- Manage all facility systems (boilers, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and the facility engineer
- Lead Focused Improvement objectives and partner with the UAW to manage the WCM suggestion system
- This position interacts with all levels of management and the UAW
