About this job
Provides clinical support to patients in the primary care clinic under the supervision of the physician. Provides continuity and appropriate care to patients.
III. Position Qualifications
Education
Certificate or Associate's degree in Medical Assisting
Experience
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in area of practice preferred.
License/Certification
Current Certification or Registry as a Medical Assistant (or must be obtained within 6 months). Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
Technical Skills
Ability to operate or learn to operate the following equipment: Pulse Ox, Ear Syringe, Cryosurgery Instruments, EKG machine, Nebulizer, Crash Cart, Portable O2 tank. Knowledge and skills to provide age appropriate care to patients. Proficient with EMR
