1 – Warehouse Specialist/2nd Shift Receiving Clerk

Department: Inbound

(must be willing to work weekends)

Days/Hours: 2pm-10:30pm M-F + required OT as directed

(must be flexible and willing to work any shift, including weekends)

Reports to: Inbound Manager and Supervisors

Responsibilities:

• Emphasize SAFETY at all times – work safely at all times
• Working cross functionally with inbound departments
• Communicating with Drivers and Brokers,
• Organizing and filing receiving paperwork
• Scheduling inbound traffic appointments
• Logging trucks into Lean logistics system
• Preparing purchase orders and placing in receiver packets
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must prioritize safety at all times
• Eagerness to handle additional responsibility
• Solid basic math skills to determine accuracy of reports
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Intermediate level access database use for data entry
• Good time management skills and ability to self-manage workflow
• Judgement and discretion in handling confidential data
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to pass PAT requirements for all warehouse departments
