Job Summary: The Special Project Crew will work with the Special Project Team Lead and Lead on a capital project.  The ideal candidate has previous experience in a mechanical field and is willing to work in adverse mountain conditions.  This is a labor intensive position and a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, willing to learn new skills, and who has a passion for the outdoors.  Position is full time, seasonal.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Follow and adhere to all company and departmental standards
  • Able to learn how to operate snowmobiles or off road vehicles on mountain terrain, groomed and un-groomed conditions
  • Must maintain all tools, equipment, and vehicles 
  • Maintain a safe work area
  • Adapt schedule and work flow to changing needs
  • Work in an efficient, accurate, and organized manner
  • Complete all required paperwork legibly and in a timely manner
  • Willingly perform expected amount of physical work
  • Groomed and outfitted in the proper uniform according to department and company standards

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Lift/push up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Able to reach above head, operate hand tools as well as manual excavation tools
  • Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, hear, see, and carry
  • Able to walk uphill at elevation of 9,100+ feet
  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Have an ability to work quickly, remain alert, and strictly observe safety procedures
  • Must have the interpersonal skills to be able to communicate in an effective and positive way with your own employees, guests, and employees from other departments while maintaining the Core Values of the Company
  • Expert in troubleshooting
  • Be a positively contributing team member
