POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Garnishment Specialist for the corporate Shared Services team. The Garnishment Specialist is responsible for the review, interpretation, administration and payment of wage withholding orders (garnishments and writs) received by the Company. This specialized role facilitates the timely and accurate collection and remittance of multi-state, bi-weekly/weekly payroll withholding orders, covering approximately 48 states. The position is based in our corporate offices located in Conshohocken, PA and reports to the Payroll Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
  • Responsible for the review, interpretation, administration and payment of wage withholding orders (garnishments and writs) received by the Company
  • Administers wage withholding orders for two different payroll cycles (bi-weekley/weekly) for deductions totaling approximately $22 million annually
  • Notifying agencies of worksite employee employment status when a garnishment or writ is received
  • Responding to client, employee, and agency withholding order inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Researching and resolving withholding order payment discrepancies on behalf of agencies and worksite employees.
  • Scan withholding orders, capture meta-data and file into a SharePoint database
  • Administer the termination letter process and store the documentation in our SharePoint database
  • All garnishment answers must be handled timely, completely and then filed into our SharePoint database
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma required. Preferred: Associate degree in Business Administration, Mathematics or equivalent related work experience
  • Minimum (3) three years previous garnishment experience in a national or multi-state company preferred
  • Proven organizational and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate work in a fast paced and high volume environment
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and SharePoint
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, management, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and to work overtime as requested
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Comfortable working in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely, courteous and professional manner
