Medtronic Energy and Component Center (MECC), located in Brooklyn Center,MN, is looking for a 2nd Shift Assembler (Assembler I). The person that takes this role will beexpected to perform a wide variety of hand, electrical and/or mechanicalassembly and inspection. A Day in the Life

The selected candidate will work with a team in a manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for maintainingproduct flow, quality, and work schedules. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: equipment setupand operation, material handling duties, updating procedures forclarifications, continuous improvement activities, coordination of holds orPRBs (process review board), and development build coordination.

Must Have --Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role,you must have a High School Diploma or GED with 0 - 2+ years of experience inmanufacturing assembly in a regulated environment. In addition, you must have basic computerexperience with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and FACTORYworks.

Nice to Have

* Shows high level ofawareness of complying to GMP and work processes and models compliance

* 3+ years ofexperience in manufacturing assembly in a regulated industry

* Demonstratedability to positively communicate and influence others

* Ability to beflexible and effectively work with various learning styles and culturaldifferences

* Ability to workeffectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships

* Ability to workunder pressure

* Basic knowledge oflean principles
