About this job
One of our top health care clients are looking for a billing/customer service representative to join their professional/physicians billing department on a 3-month contract to hire basis. The role will be paying between $16 - $21 per hour based on experience and will be starting immediately!
Key Qualifiers:
- 1-2 years experience in professional/physician's biller
- EPIC is strongly preferred but not required if candidate hits all other must haves
- Supreme track record with customer service working with patients
- 1+ years' direct experience working with patients on benefits, bill payment info, balances on accounts, updating insurance info, etc.
- Flexible Schedule (see schedule)
Responsibilities:
- The department is experience an overload of call volume, so rather than claims/billing work, candidates will be answering calls from patients handling anything from benefits information, checking account balances, updating insurance information. They'll be on the phones for roughly 6 hours a day de-escalating these types of calls.
