NeuroRestorative Maine offers Neurorehabilitation, Neurobehavioral and Supported Living programs for adults with brain injuries and other neurological challenges. Located in the beautiful community of Gorham, participants receive the appropriate level of supervision, services and supports based on their individual rehabilitation goals.


Description

NeuroRestorative-ME is seeking Life Skills Trainers in Gorham to provide training, assistance and supervision to MENTOR ABI Group participants in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential & community settings. Assists with medical supervision. Facilitates working relationships between community employers and MENTOR ABI Group participants. Cooperate with MENTOR ABI and any state Department of Human Service staff in any inspection or investigation.

Life Skills Trainers provide assistance to program participants to offer support with daily activities like bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding. LSTs help with teaching skills to promote independent living, administer medications, take vital signs, and work with the families of our participants.
