Job Description:

This position assists with the development and management of MetroPCS' media strategy, planning, buying and administration to ensure compliance with marketing and media objectives. Position works closely with internal product managers and agency partners to create and evaluate media strategies based on cost, timing, competitive, added value/promotions, go-to-market strategies and business goals.

Responsibilities:

Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.

Assists in the development, presentation, and maintenance of media programs for primary campaigns and directs programs for secondary campaigns across a mix of media (e.g., television, radio, newspaper, digital, or magazines for general market and Hispanic audiences).
Manages and coordinates process to deliver efficient media solutions for online direct response and search programs including reporting and optimization of media/creative; works with agency partners and cross-functional internal teams.
Manages and executes product integrations working closely with internal advertising and segment teams and external agencies to optimize programs.
Assists in the development, presentation, and maintenance of digital strategies and programs.
Leads agencies and internal finance partners to ensure billing performance standards are met.
Manages competitive reporting in conjunction with marketing planning and analysis, and competitive and consumer insights teams.
Manages and develops media programs for all co-op spending.

Qualifications:

4-6 year's media management experience within a consumer products or retail company (wireless or consumer tech preferred) or equivalent experience in media planning for an advertising agency. Familiarity with a full range of media channels (Network, Cable, Spot TV, Radio, Print, Digital, Outdoor, Hispanic media, etc.)
Knowledge of the media landscape and the latest trends in media, how customers consume media, and the entertainment needs of customer base
Familiarity with multiple advertising mediums (i.e. broadcast, print, online, and non-traditional advertising)
Ability to evaluate and prioritize media channels per media campaign
Ability to aggregate data sources, study trends, and understand correlation patterns in digital media in order to build strategic action plans as well as optimize paid search strategies that increase site traffic, raise purchase consideration, and generate lift in brand awareness and customer loyalty
