Packaging Sales Executive

Advance Packaging Technologies is a packaging distributor based in Waterford Michigan. We have a dynamic sales force who work remotely from a home office in their particular market.

We are looking for seasoned Sales Representatives who have consistently been top performers in the flexible packaging industry. Strong end user relationships and and the ability to identify and close new projects are paramount to success with us. We offer excellent purchasing, customer service, sales and technical support. We are be more competitive and flexible in the market place than most large packaging houses. If you want to improve your income and quality of life we will be a good fit for you.

Salary & benefits commensurate with experience plus a lucrative commission structure when advantageous.


Job Purpose:
Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.

Duties:
Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.

Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmark state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
