Landscape Installation Assistant Manager - Full-time / Part-time

The Landscape Projects Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing Styer Landscaping’s landscape design and installation projects. This position supervises the work of Landscape Projects Crew Leaders, helping and supporting these leaders as they lead crews to perform all activities for design and installation customers. This position also works closely with the Landscape Projects Manager to ensure that all landscape projects are delivered on time, within budget and meets the quality standards that Styer is known to deliver.

Required Skills:

- A minimum of 3 years in the landscape industry, preferably in a leadership role.

- Knowledge of plants. shrubs, trees that are indigenous to the Virginia area

-Ability to read and interpret landscape designs

-Comprehensive knowledge of quality standards for all aspects of landscape installation and maintenance projects

- Identification of below-par quality

- Execution of correction and improvement (training, guidance, etc.)

- Reporting of deviations and corrections

- Strong customer service background

- At least 2 years in a leadership role such as landscaping crew leader or foreman

- Background of excellent dependability in previous positions

- Valid Virginia driver's license with good driving record

Desired Skills

- Pesticide spray certification

- Some knowledge of irrigation system repairs
