Job Description
Midsized specialty textile manufacturing company located in Kingstree South Carolina is looking for a candidate to fill the position of manufacturing shift floor supervisor with a rotating schedule between 2nd shift and 3rd shift operations of our main production department.
Qualifications
- One to two years of direct manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Candidates must have experience directly supervising production workers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- You must be able to coordinate priorities, assign responsibilities, oversee various activities simultaneously, maintain and support production inefficiencies of your employees and provide overall leadership of your department.
- Responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of the machinery and equipment in the manufacturing areas.
- Required to prioritize workplace safety, organization, good work practices, and a general sense of teamwork and cooperation among your employees.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to get along with and interact with your employees and management are essential.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the manufacturing manager on 1st shift.
- Responsible for keeping organized production records,
- Coordinating the flow of production during your shift
- Ensuring that the production is marked and separated appropriately for identification by the following shifts.
